"I'm
just feeling so thankful! I found out on Friday that I have been
accepted into the BYU nursing program. I am truly humbled. It's such an
amazing feeling of comfort and guidance. I'm finally feeling like all my
hard work is paying off. These past years have been tough but they have
been so worth it. The whole time I was in Success Academy I had to keep
telling myself over and over again that it would all be worth it in the
end... And it has been thus far! This semester has been even more
difficult for me.Chemistry has been up the wazzooo and it has tested me.
It is hard to find the balance of school work, social, &
spirituality. There have been times where I've felt that I should just
be done with Chemisty and give up. There have been countless times where
I have felt way too inadequate to ever get into the nursing program.
Every time I told someone that I was applying I would start to feel
doubt upon doubt and I just wanted to keep it a secret that I was even
applying. I had fear for what was going to happen. I have learned:
"The Gospel teaches us to be happy, and have hope instead of fear." Boyd K. Packer"
1st semester of nursing school! ^^aren't we cute little babies^^

Our final Christmas/Graduating party!
We all walked together in August, since there isn't a commencement in December.
I can't believe I will become an official registered nurse in about a month (pray I pass the NCLEX first!). I loved BYU and I'm truly going to miss being a student there.. good thing Kendall still has 2 more years :) Forever a cougar!
I'm so excited for my future in this rewarding and humbling career of nursing!
It truly is the Healer's Art.
Global Health Spring Semester- Ghana Africa. One of my favorite experiences of the program!
